Large multi-rayed silvered breast star with a white enamelled Maltese-style cross. Between the arms are gilt rays. The central blue enamel medallion bears a gilt royal crown, characteristic of the Belgian Order of the Crown. The reverse is fitted with a vertical pin and is maker-marked “G. WOLTERS – BRUXELLES.”
Condition:
Original period condition with honest age-related wear. Enamel generally well preserved with minor surface imperfections. Natural patina to the metal surfaces. Pin and reverse hardware intact and functional. No repairs noted. For the condition, please refer to the pictures.
