An exceptionally rare and historically significant grouping belonging to a soldier of the Polish 1st Independent Parachute Brigade. This set includes:
Numbered WW2 Polish Paratrooper Badge (Spadochronowa Odznaka), made by Kirkwood & Son, Edinburgh, serial number 5339, awarded to strzelec (rifleman) Bolesław Sypko. Reverse inscribed with "TOBIE OJCZYZNO" (For your motherland).
Two Polish Eagles (Orzeł Wojskowy):
One made by Spink & Son, professionally modified for beret attachment (see photos).     
One ​​​​​​​Economic Plastic Eagle made by Stanley & Son – a wartime issue.
 ​​​​​​​Both eagles were worn on the paratrooper beret during World War II.
WW2 G.Q. Parachute Lapel Badge – a metal miniature with winged parachute design.
Two metal collar badges in parachute motif.
Two cloth parachute insignia patches (green backing with yellow parachute and yellow trim).
Embroidered paratrooper eagle on brown leather background – representing the 1st Independent Parachute Brigade.
